Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/02/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: 3 years of operating room experience required with extensive experience in neuro and ortho spine service lines Must have at least 3 years neuro surgery experience and ortho spine experience Neuro call required Experience in other service lines such as general, ENT, and robotics is a plus Unit does not accept first time travelers - travel experience required 36 hours of orientation required Must be available for emergency team assignments during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility until event passes No call-ins allowed - strict attendance policy Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted) Weekend coverage as department needs require Two pre-approved time off requests allowed Required certifications: BLS, AHA certifications Skills required: Circulate/Telemetry, Conscious Sedation Louisiana or Compact license required in hand upon submittal NURSYS reports required and must be up to date within 4 weeks of submission Provide care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics 2 Manager/Supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start Must be separated from facility for 1 full year if previously worked as permanent staff Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced surgical services with specialized focus areas including neurosurgery and orthopedic spine procedures.
