As a Branch Operations Intern, you will dive into the daily functions of a branch and gain insight into the broader organization and the diverse career paths we offer. You will collaborate with team members and leaders to acquire valuable experience, assisting in various aspects of branch operations, including the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and engaging in one or more continuous improvement projects. Our aim is to enrich your education with practical experience while introducing you to exciting career opportunities within Republic Finance. This position is 100% onsite. You will receive a competitive hourly wage of $15.00, with a strong possibility for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship program. As a Branch Operations Intern, you will have the chance to: Become licensed and participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and complete necessary regulatory training. Assist in the daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and funding by allocating files for document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding. Engage with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and explore promotional pathways within Republic Finance. Attend regional meetings and workshops, whenever available, to gain insights into the broader Branch Operations division of the company. Participate in one or more process improvement projects related to Branch Operations. Requirements: Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic. Must be available to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing, which includes a criminal background check conducted by the state's department of insurance.
