Job Description

An opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CCC certification to support K-12 students in multiple schools within the San Antonio, TX area. This contract position offers full-time hours working on-site with a caseload typically ranging from 80 to 100 students, supported by Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As). Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language evaluations. Preparing for and participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. Supervising SLP-As and providing additional testing support as necessary. Managing caseloads encompassing a diverse K-12 student population. Qualifications: Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) credential required. Texas licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. ASHA certification preferred, with completed clinical hours logged. Ability to work bilingually or monolingually is acceptable. Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and families. The position covers three schools with the following student counts: Young Women's Leadership Academy (grades 6-12, approximately 80 students) Charles August Arnold Elementary (grades K-5, approximately 90 students) Additional schools may be added. The contract is scheduled to start ASAP and continue through May 29, 2026, with a standard 40-hour workweek and on-site presence required. Compensation is commensurate with experience, ranging approximately from $55 to $67 per hour based on years of school experience.
