Chief Operating Officer and Camp Director About the Company Join a well-regarded conference center that excels in hospitality and group meeting services. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer and Camp Director to be the visionary and operational leader of our unique camp and conference center. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and maintain a hands-on presence, focusing on financial sustainability and operational excellence. You will thrive in a role that requires you to navigate between high-level strategic initiatives and direct engagement with staff and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include: Setting long-range goals and stewarding financial resources effectively. Creating a safe, inclusive, and exceptional environment for both guests and staff. Leading a seasoned team and overseeing a large seasonal workforce. Shaping the culture and community of the camp. The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's degree. At least 7 years of progressive administrative and financial leadership experience, preferably in camp operations, hospitality, or higher education. Advanced financial acumen and strong strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication abilities and a proven record in leading diverse teams. Experience in navigating complex employee relations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Preferences include certifications in EMT-B, California Water License (T-2), Commercial Class B Driver's License, and PCIA Rock Climbing Single Pitch Lead Climb Instructor. This role also involves leadership of summer programs, conference and hospitality management, with an emphasis on guest and alumni relations.
