Join Our Team as a Temp Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care (LTC) Are you a dedicated nursing professional looking to make a meaningful impact in long-term care settings? Required Skills: Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of practiceProven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilitiesStrong clinical skills including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoringExcellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and familiesAbility to observe and respond to changes in residents mental and physical health promptlyCompetency in electronic documentation and medication records management (MARs/TARs)Leadership capabilities to supervise and support Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in compliance with licensing standardsNice to Have Skills: Experience with wound vacs or gastrostomy feedingsFamiliarity with infection control protocols and safety proceduresAbility to work independently with strong organization skillsBilingual abilities may be beneficial for diverse resident populationsPreferred Education and Experience: Current valid LVN or LPN license in the applicable stateAt least 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or equivalent settingsPrior supervisory or leadership experience is advantageousOther Requirements: Own reliable transportation, as the facility is in a remote rural area with limited public transit and housing optionsAbility to work full-time hours based on scheduled shiftsWillingness to adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medication and resident care practicesCertification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred but not mandatoryThis role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $40.87, along with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, and reimbursement for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses when applicable.
