Together withDocGosintegrated Ambulnz medical transport services,DocGois bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.Responsibilities: Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management toassuretop tier patient care.Be flexible as emergency servicesoperateon a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications,licensesand registrationsConduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.Recognize and treat any medical condition withappropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and Countyprotocols.Providetop tiermedical transport to medical facilities by assumingresponsibilitiesfor medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.Maintainrig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.Gather patient billing information andappropriate billingsignatures.Prepare andsubmita pre-hospital patient care report.Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.Qualifications: NY State EMT LicenseValid Drivers License (held for 2 or more years) and acceptable driving recordValid BLS CPR Card for the Health Care ProviderExcellent verbal communication skillMust be able to lift,pushand pull 125 lbs. or more.Successfully complete Physical Aptitude TestTech-savvy or comfortable with technologyAble to work on a teamRespectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors
