Job Description Job Description Job Title: School Coordinator Department: Sarasota Ballet School Location: 1400 Boulevard of the Arts Reports To: Education Administrative Manager and School Principal Position Status: Full Time The Sarasota Ballet School is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to serve as our School Coordinator . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, arts-focused environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on students and families through exceptional organizational and communication skills. As a key member of our administrative team, you will help keep the daily operations of the School running smoothly while serving as a friendly, informed point of contact for students, families, and faculty. A background or interest in the performing arts is a requirement, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is essential. About The Sarasota Ballet School: The Sarasota Ballet School is a multifaceted organization with training programs for young dancers, aspiring professionals, and adult students. We are a non-profit, dedicated to the growth and development of every individual and creating a life-long love of dance. The Sarasota Ballet School is connected to a world class company which continues to grow in caliber and reputation each year. Duties:First point of contact for parents, families and adult students, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.Communicate with families and students, maintaining positive relations with all constituents.Promptly answer any questions and inquiries received.Prepare, schedule, and follow up on all trial/placement classes.Assist with registration and enrollment of all students.Facilitate all billing by ensuring discounts, financial aid and special arrangements are accounted for as well as communicating and resolving any billing issues in a timely manner.Coordinate adult student accounts, class cards, and registrations.Attend meetings as scheduled regarding upcoming events, projects, and duties.Prepare and send out mass communication emails using Mailchimp platform.Assist in preparations for any school performances including The Nutcracker and end of year show.Represent The Sarasota Ballet at school and community events.Assist in managing the school's downtown location and communicate any facility issues.Assist the Education Administrative Manager with The Sarasota Ballet's annual Summer Intensive program.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Relevant administrative experience at an educational or performing arts organization.Enthusiastic and positive approach to work; strong work ethic.Excellent written and verbal skills.Conflict resolution skills.Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to thrive and adapt to change easily.Ability to work independently and part of a team.Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.Demonstrable experience in both Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check and driving record.Must be able to legally work in the United States. Desired Qualifications:A degree in Arts Administration or Business Administration or a related field.Strong knowledge in finance.Knowledge of Jackrabbit Dance, Tessitura and/or Mindbody a plus.Background and interest in dance/performing arts a plus.
