These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.Job DescriptionProduction LeadReno, NVCompensation Includes Starting Pay Rate of $25.79/hour Available Shift Day Shift OverviewWhile working in a safe, efficient manner, always keeping quality in mind, working in a cooperative team environment to feed, remove, and package Burrow Packaging Corporation products. Complete the entire finishing process through date coding, case taping, and palletizing of all finished cases, including accurate paperwork and inventory control.Responsibilities Ability to train in all functions across all Department related to manufacturing process Train employees on proper work procedures and practices to ensure consistency of production and quality Knows and comprehends basic start-up/shut down of all equipment Inspects/loads: prior to placement of materials Removes completed Products from machines Inspects completed boxes to verify conformance to customer specifications, discarding all non-conformance materials Shuts down any equipment when malfunctioning or producing non-conforming materials Wraps completed, inspected products if required, or other required packaging material Date codes each case with the proper manufacturing date/shift on which product is produced, making sure all codes are legible Stacks/palletizes finished cases on appropriate pallets, according to customer specifications Fills out finished goods tickets with all the requires information, in a neat and accurate manner. Using the computer and SAP software to maintain accurate inventory records Stretch wraps finished loads to secure for warehousing storage/final shipment Moves finished pallets of product to the identified storage area with hand truck Keep all work areas and machines in good manufacturing housekeeping condition, always Performs all duties with minimal supervision requirements Informs shift forming operators, shift supervisors of problems that may arise Qualifications At least 1 year experience in Manufacturing Must be able to motivate, coach, and train new employees Works well independently or in a team environment andwith little or no supervision Ability to provide constructive feedback to trainees and management staff with good communication skills Must possess basic math and computer skills Be capable of working in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold temperatures) andstanding for long periods of time Must have basic trouble shooting abilities Ability to read and comprehend basic English Company BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
