Type: Contract/TempPosted Date: 2026-03-10Pay Range: 65.00 - 70.90 USD per hourPrimary FunctionThe Content Designer Strategist defines and executes content strategy for customer-serving digital experiences including websites, applications, and email. This role translates user insights and business priorities into clear content strategies that support product development and management. The role partners closely with UX designers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, user-centered transactional experiences while ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.Fully remote - must be able to work EST hoursMax pay rate: $70.90/hr.Contract: 3/20/26 - 10/31/26Duties & ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive content strategy based on user insights and business prioritiesDevelop content plans supporting product features, navigation, and user workflowsContribute to information architecture, navigation systems, taxonomies, and content modelsWrite clear microcopy and instructional content for transactional digital experiencesPartner with UX designers to develop narrative direction, interface messaging, and microcopyDevelop messaging strategies and content frameworks aligned to brand voice and toneCreate content aligned to user personas and customer journeysEnsure content is implemented across wireframes, prototypes, and digital assets to deliver a consistent experienceUse analytics, research, and customer feedback to measure and optimize content performanceCollaborate with cross-functional partners including product, design, engineering, and marketing teamsSupport agile and iterative development processesSkills & QualificationsExperience developing content strategies for websites, mobile applications, and emailStrong microcopy and instructional writing skills for transactional user experiencesKnowledge of content organization, tagging systems, and scalable content structuresAbility to interpret user research, analytics, and insights to inform content decisionsUnderstanding of human-centered design and UX principlesStrong storytelling and editorial skills with attention to content qualityAbility to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to product decisionsExperience working in agile environmentsStrong communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsAbility to think strategically, connect initiatives, and drive results across complex programsWorking knowledge of tools such as Adobe XD Cloud, Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration platformsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, UX, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in content strategy, content design, or UX writing for websites, apps, and emailExperience working with cross-functional product and design teams on complex digital programsCustomer Service Commitment:TeamPeople, a division of System One, is an organization dedicated to providing superior customer service.
