School Aide - Substitute (Weekly Pay)

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. The school aide must help with redirecting behaviors to help with the student's academic goals.On-call part time type of schedule to support school bell schedule hours. Substitutes who are reliable and communicative often transition into full-time roles as needs arise.Reached out to sub as early as the night before and in the morning around 7am.Minimum Requirements: Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Toileting support needed - diapering/tolieting Caregiving experience preferred Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances.
