Our client, a leading innovator in AR/VR, AI, and wearable technologies, is seeking a UX Researcher III to join their dynamic team. As a UX Researcher III, you will be part of the Reality Labs department supporting cutting-edge projects focused on AI wearables and human-AI interaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing human-centered technology, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: UX Researcher IIILocation: Redmond, WA (onsite role; might consider candidates in Burlingame, CA. Some travel expected)Pay Range: $80 to $83/hr on W2Contract Duration : 12 monthsWhat's the Job? Design and conduct research to inform the development of innovative AI glasses user experiences, focusing on speech communication and human-AI interaction. Evaluate and iterate on audio and communication features for AI wearables by understanding user perceptions, interactions, and benefits. Translate research insights into clear, measurable recommendations and actionable insights for cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to influence the development and integration of future AI wearable experiences. Independently manage research activities, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and knowledge sharing to support product development. What's Needed? Master's or PhD in Cognitive Psychology, Linguistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Neuroscience, or related UX field. At least 2 years of industry experience conducting applied research on consumer products, emphasizing quantitative and mixed-methods approaches. Proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, surveys, and qualitative research methods such as interviews and diary studies. Experience working within cross-functional teams to influence product development. Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. What's in it for me?
