Human Resources Intern We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core HR functions and is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. This is an unpaid internship, but academic credit may be available depending on program requirements. Wesley Behavioral Health Services is a community-based behavioral health organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals and families. We specialize in outpatient and community-focused services that support mental health, stability, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding documentation Support personnel file organization and record-keeping Help maintain HR systems (e.g., BambooHR or similar platforms) Assist with recruitment tasks such as posting positions and scheduling interviews Support compliance-related tasks and internal audits Help draft internal communications and HR documents Provide general administrative support to the HR team Learning Opportunities Exposure to HR operations, compliance, and employee relations Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms Professional mentorship and real-world HR experience Opportunity to build HR-related skills and resume experience Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Additional Information Internship hours are flexible and can be coordinated around academic schedules This position does not offer compensation or benefits This role does not guarantee future employment but may be used as professional experience
