Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of oversized and overweight equipment, including construction and snow removal machinery. The ideal candidate has heavy haul experience, strong knowledge of DOT regulations, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Safely load, secure, transport, and unload oversized and overweight equipment Operate lowboy, RGN, and flatbed trailers for heavy haul transport Transport equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, bin block, and other heavy machinery Properly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other approved tie-down methods Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and vehicle safety Monitor vehicle performance and maintain mechanical fitness of tractor and trailer Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of service requirements Accurately maintain Electronic Logs (ELD) and electronic dispatch systems via tablet/iPad Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure timely and safe deliveries Assist with equipment staging and mobilization and demobilization during peak operations (including emergency response and snow events, if applicable) Maintain a valid Class A CDL license. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL (required) 3+ years of tractor-trailer experience (heavy haul preferred) Experience hauling oversized/overweight loads Knowledge of load securement standards and DOT compliance Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical securement duties Clean driving record Drug Free Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading/unloading (preferred) Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed Willingness to travel for extended periods of time What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Steady, year-round work Modern, well-maintained equipment Supportive operations team Opportunities for advancement If you are a safety-driven professional who takes pride in moving heavy equipment efficiently and correctly, we want to hear from you.
