Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $44-46 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds: 25 · Type of equipment: Basic equipment - Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period · Floating policy: Will float over core staff · Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on listening and responsiveness · Must have – COVID Vaccine Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Preferred Skill Set: Able to perform basic patient assessments, general care and maintenance of the following: Wounds, Tracheostomy, Ostomy, Drains, Chest Tubes. Patient population has at times will require dialysis or PCA pumps. Only drip is Heparin. Post-Op procedures on unit: Amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, and wound vacs.
