Senior CFIUS Compliance Analyst Join Vonage and help us innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide! Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage's CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior CFIUS Compliance Analyst to join this team. The Senior CFIUS Compliance Analyst is responsible to perform routine audits of company policies and procedures, and implements policies as needed to comply with legal regulations while supporting the CFIUS Compliance Senior Director to ensure the controls are operating effectively. What you will do: Design, execute, and document internal control reviews and ongoing monitoring activities, specifically assessing the design adequacy and testing operational effectiveness of internal controls and processes against Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) requirements Maintain and continuously update the comprehensive control inventory Prepare detailed, high-quality compliance reports and presentations for various stakeholders Develop, maintain, and execute sophisticated compliance testing scripts using advanced data analytics and automation tools to efficiently identify control deficiencies, emerging non-compliance trends, and potential risk areas Translate complex compliance data into clear, data-driven insights and performance metrics, presenting findings and strategic risk mitigation recommendations to senior leadership Collaborate proactively with Product and Engineering teams throughout the entire Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) to embed CFIUS compliance and control requirements Participate in technical design and code reviews, providing timely and constructive compliance-focused feedback to ensure adherence to control standards and best practices Design and implement robust automated testing and quality assurance processes specifically tailored to validate control implementation within code and system configurations What is required: 5+ years of Audit, Assurance, or Compliance experience performing internal assessments, external assessments, or management review activities for example, as an Auditor or equivalent role at a "Big 4" or other major public accounting firm, or within a Corporate environment Deep, practical understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including, Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and DevOps practices Proficiency in core Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and managing iterative development cycles Practical experience utilizing version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN) Proficiency in one or more coding languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with the ability to read and understand code for audit purposes Strong foundational knowledge of computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and common software design patterns Demonstrated experience auditing or working within major cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) Comprehensive understanding of security best practices, secure coding principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps) Hands-on experience applying data analytics, scripting, or automated techniques to enhance auditing, monitoring, or compliance testing Knowledge or experience with CFIUS a plus Demonstrated expertise in assessing compliance risks and contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective compliance programs and internal controls Experience interpreting regulations, laws, and statutes Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail required for documentation and evidence collection Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to effectively interact with stakeholders Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment Must work within Eastern or Central time zones Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, Technology, or similar field CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent certification What is in it for you: In addition to providing exciting work, career advancement opportunities, and a collaborative work environment, Vonage provides competitive pay and benefits including unlimited discretionary time off and tuition reimbursement.
