A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM • 13-week assignment duration • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required with strength in Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology • Cerner EMR experience required • CNOR certification preferred • Expected to float between campuses as needed • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in patient care planning • Work as member of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel • Ensure supplies and timeliness of cases • Communicate with families and update physician preference cards • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases • Supervise personnel delivering patient care • Provide patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced surgical services with state-of-the-art operating rooms and cutting-edge technology.
