Vice President of Mechanical Construction Encore Mechanical – Dallas, Texas About Encore Mechanical Encore Mechanical is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in large‑scale commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Encore Mechanical is recognized for its expertise in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, delivering high‑efficiency, flexible climate control solutions for diverse building types. With a track record of technical excellence and innovative project delivery, we continue to expand our presence in the North Texas market. Position Overview Encore Mechanical is seeking an experienced Vice President of Mechanical Construction to lead operations, strengthen client relationships, and drive strategic growth across the Dallas–Fort Worth region. The ideal candidate has strong ties within the DFW construction community, a proven background in mechanical project leadership, and the business acumen to guide teams and performance at an executive level. While not required, experience with VRF systems is highly preferred due to Encore’s strong market focus and reputation in this area. This executive role reports directly to the company President. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement strategies to expand Encore Mechanical’s market share throughout North Texas. Leverage established industry relationships to pursue new partnerships and opportunities. Represent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetings. Operational Oversight Lead project management and field operations to ensure projects exceed expectations in safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. Review project scopes, budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements. Champion best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Financial & Business Performance Manage forecasting, job cost performance, and resource allocation. Support negotiation of contracts and major vendor/subcontractor agreements. Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting and long‑term planning. Team Development Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing project teams. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and leadership. Recruit and retain top industry talent to support Encore’s continued growth. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within mechanical construction. Strong reputation and established relationships with general contractors, engineers, and owners in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Experience delivering complex mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Experience with VRF systems preferred but not required. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Why Encore Mechanical?
