The facility features a dedicated inpatient psychiatric unit that serves patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations, with a focus on delivering compassionate mental health care.Opportunity:Advanced Practice (NP) - Family Nurse PractitionerJob Details:• Provide family medicine services in an inpatient psychiatric unit setting• Care for diverse patient population ranging from age 10 to elderly• Handle approximately 52 patient encounters per shift• Work intermittent weekend coverage shifts• Must be board certified FNP-BC with 2+ years of experience• Experience requirement allows for independent practice in Massachusetts• Position forecasted to continue for approximately one year starting in January• Must be local candidate who can commute without need for travel accommodations• Licensed in Massachusetts only - no IMLC accepted• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 daysCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
