Amergis Healthcare is seeking an experienced Dentist (DDS/DMD) for a 1099 contracting opportunity at a correctional facility in Highland, NY (12528) . This is an excellent part time role offering competitive pay, stable scheduling, and long term contract potential. Position Highlights Location: Highland, NY 12528 Start Date: March 2, 2026 Schedule: Monday & Wednesday (20 hours/week) Patient Load: 4 10 PPD Contract Length: 26 weeks, with potential extension up to 2 years Compensation: $180/hr (approx. $5,200/week ) Higher rates may be offered based on experience Minimum Requirements DDS or DMD degree Minimum 1+ year of experience (correctional experience preferred) Active BLS and DEA Role Overview The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to youth in the custody of the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) . Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums, performing restorative and preventive procedures, and ensuring high quality care in accordance with agency policies and clinical standards.
