Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,052 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year in Medical Surgical License: Compact or State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must have 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing. - Must be skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Must have experience in telemetry monitoring. Description: General medical surgical floor with the possibility of floating to telemetry units. Immediate medical/surgical experience is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Local travelers within a 100-mile radius are not accepted. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed. The patient ratio is 5 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends. The unit typically provides care for adults and geriatrics. Candidates must be skilled in the use of rapid response and code teams. Compliance requirements include EKG onboarding exams and various competency exams. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy and social services. Candidates should discuss any past employment with this facility to ensure eligibility.
