Executive Assistant This position will support multiple Space Systems Command programs, as well as other initiatives across the Space Force, Air Force, and allied organizations. Join us in shaping the future of space operations and contributing to the defense of our nation's space assets. Primary responsibilities include: Assist the government in routine business operations, including executive-level administrative support, office management, personnel management, human resources management, and configuration and data management Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, handle information requests, coordinate personnel and appraisal records, manage mail distribution and office support services Manage executive schedules, plan government travel from booking to reimbursement, coordinate staff activities, and arrange meetings, events, and conventions Assist and advise on analyzing, interpreting, monitoring, disseminating, and resolving tasks including internal and external organization inquiries and Task Management Tool tasks Ensure documents comply with Space Systems Command, Space Force, Air Force, and Department of Defense policies, laws, and regulations Facilitate interfaces with critical acquisition organizations, ensure document quality and completeness Develop, document, modify, transition, and maintain standard functional databases to support organizational mission requirements Plan and execute the transition of program-specific software and databases into standard or updated systems as approved Manage government civilian recordkeeping and act as the primary contact for civilian human resource management functions Provide guidance on civilian procedures, rules, and regulations Identify and justify requisitions for vacant civilian positions, complete Request for Personnel Actions and security waivers Create Core Personnel Documents and update Manpower Change Requests Assist with special civilian manpower requests such as Reimbursable, Superior Qualification Packages, By-Name-Requests, and Position Designations Attend and support administration of meetings and reviews; schedule using Microsoft Calendar, capture action items, record minutes, and disseminate them timely Assist with submission and processing of military and civilian awards and decorations Monitor status of outbound personnel for awards, order plaques, update recognition boards Notify government of award timelines, assist with preparing award packages, ensure compliance with regulations Monitor award package processing until presentation; assist with awards board process including vote consolidation and result presentation Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Suite applications (i.e., Microsoft Project) Minimum qualifications include: Experience performing military and/or civilian executive-level support services, protocol, information management, and administrative support activities; including specifically the areas of Executive Staff Support Functions, Military Protocol Information Management/Operations Support, and demonstrated ability to interface with Senior Leadership within the government (military and/or civil servant) Requires three to 10 years' experience in this type of position or program BA/BS degree is required This position may supervise the work of others. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%. Little if any travel is required. Compensation/Salary Range: $52,000 - $151,000 Annual Salary BTAS Benefits: A comprehensive benefits program, including paid time off, federal holidays, health coverage, 401K plan with generous company match is offered to all full-time employees.
