Our Urgent Care centers provide high-quality, immediate care for non-life-threatening conditions, with compassionate staff and easy access to a comprehensive network of specialists if needed. We invite you to join us in our mission to ensure that every patient and family member feels valued, respected, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday & Holidays 8:00am to 5:00PMInpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient onlyCall Ratio: Balanced call ratio shared among physicians and sitesDaily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per dayEquipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resourcesProvider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities:Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plansRecommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuriesMonitor lab results and medication adherencePrescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessaryEducate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment optionsRefer patients to specialists when neededActively participate in hospital committees and initiativesCollaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care Qualifications At NorthBay Health, we are dedicated to improving the well-being of the communities we serve by providing accessible, high-quality care in a compassionate, respectful, and ethical environment. Primary Responsibilities:Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatmentRecommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose conditionMonitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicitiesPrescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injuryExplain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patientRefers patients to medical specialists when necessaryRepresents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the groupCollaborate and manage APPs Qualifications:MD or DO degreeBoard-certified in Family Medicine or Emergency MedicineLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaProven experience in a primary care settingExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compensation and perks:2-yr Income Guarantee per year: $350,000Sign On Bonus/Relocation available for qualified candidatesA positive work-life balanceCollaborative and energized clinical teamsIndependent Contractor/1099 About Us At NorthBay Health we are committed to providing you with competitive wages and quality benefits for you and your family:Wages reviewed annually and adjusted to remain competitiveMedical, dental and vision benefits for full and part-time employees and their families.
