Luxury Residential Estimator (Experienced)

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Luxury Residential Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Luxury Residential Estimator with 5+ years of experience in custom residential construction. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing accurate cost estimates for high-end homes and renovations, a solid understanding of construction methods, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. This position plays a key role in preconstruction by supporting budgeting, bidding, and subcontractor coordination for luxury residential projects. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for luxury custom homes and high-end renovationsPerform quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and specificationsAssist in developing conceptual, schematic, and final construction budgetsSolicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bidsEnsure scope coverage and identify gaps or inconsistencies in proposalsSupport value engineering efforts while maintaining design integrityMaintain and update pricing databases and historical cost informationCollaborate with project managers to ensure smooth project turnover from preconstruction to operationsParticipate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed Qualifications5+ years of estimating experience in residential or custom home constructionExperience with high-end finishes, custom details, and luxury materials preferredStrong understanding of construction processes and sequencingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Sage and ProcoreAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering plansStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) a plus but not a requirement.
