Job Description Job Description Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician's Assistant (PA) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) This individual serves as an independent clinician at a premier Wellness and Weight Loss Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, overseeing patient assessment, treatment, and care within a comprehensive nutritional program. The ideal candidate has experience with hormone replacement therapy, peptides, and aesthetics and injectables to enhance patient wellness. Licensing RequirementsMust hold an active Federal DEA License and Florida License to prescribe and dispense medications, or be fully credentialed and willing to obtain them. Functions and Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities:Administer the weight loss program, managing related acute and chronic health conditions.Administer aesthetic treatments, including injectables such as Botox, dermal fillers, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures.Administer hormone replacement therapies to men and womenAdminister peptides and research for novel peptidesPerform patient assessments, including physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic tests.Prescribe medications as needed.Refer patients to specialists when necessary.Collaborate with physicians on complex cases.Promote wellness through patient education on nutrition, exercise, and aesthetic care.Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and EMR/EHR.Engage in community outreach and continuing education to maintain licensure. Special SkillsProven experience in aesthetics and injectables, with a strong understanding of facial anatomy and safe administration techniques.Understanding of organizational policies, legal regulations, and patient care procedures.Proficiency in medical assessments, history-taking, and interpreting findings.Expertise in maintaining records, writing reports, and managing correspondence.Clear communication with patients and colleagues.Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Confidence in promoting and marketing wellness and aesthetic services and products.
