Responsibilities/Duties: Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents Conduct regular patrols Monitor activities Surveillance Access Control Safety escorts Using provided communication devices Represent SSNW's brand Properly wear the issued uniform Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) Complete Incident Reports Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. Other duties as described in the Post Orders Required Skills/Abilities: 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean criminal record and driving record Reliable transportation Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting. Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations Honesty and Integrity Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment Physical Requirements: Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols Able to stand 8-12 hours a day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
