Job Description Job Description Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Therapy Assistant based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area. The Speech Therapy Assistant will support licensed speech-language pathologists in the assessment and implementation of therapy plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, preparing materials, monitoring and documenting client progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients. The individual will work primarily with children, helping them improve communication and speech skills. Qualifications Knowledge of Speech Therapy techniques and practices Skills in Speech and Communication to support client development Background in working with children and providing educational support Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Ability to follow therapy plans and provide accurate documentation Relevant certifications or qualifications as a Speech Therapy Assistant Prior experience in pediatric settings is a plus
