The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting, as well as building a robust internal control framework and a scalable accounting organization. This role demands a leader who can partner with executive management to support organic growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives, including acquisitions. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the accounting team, overseeing the monthly close process, maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and managing external audit relationships. The VP Controller will also be heavily involved in inventory, costing, and margin integrity, working capital and cash management, FP&A partnership, and internal controls and risk management. Applicants for the VP Controller position at the company should have a strong background in public accounting, with a focus on inventory accounting and cost structures in complex environments.
