Newly built ED, strong support staff, and flexible schedules available including upcoming holiday and ongoing 2026 needs . Must hold SC license, CSR, and DEA registered in-state. Facilities:McLeod Regional Medical Center Florence, SCMcLeod Cheraw Cheraw, SC Specialty: Emergency Medicine Type: Locum Tenens McLeod Regional Medical Center Florence, SC McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians for locum coverage in its newly built 80-bed Emergency Department , opened in 2021. This facility is designed to handle up to 100,000 patients annually and offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with strong APP support. Assignment Details:Shifts: Night coverage (11p 7a) preferred8-hour shifts standard; 12-hour shifts (7p 7a) available if neededAverage Volume: 190 visits per daySupport: 5 APPs (mix of NPs and PAs), plus APP extenders and scribesProcedures: All standard emergency medicine procedures requiredPopulation: Must be comfortable seeing all agesTransfer Rate: Very low Qualifications:Board Certified in Emergency Medicine ( Family Medicine not accepted )South Carolina medical licenseActive CSR and DEA (must remain permanently registered in SC) McLeod Cheraw Cheraw, SC McLeod Cheraw is seeking locum Emergency Medicine coverage for both holiday and ongoing shifts. This is a smaller, rural facility offering a meaningful opportunity to serve an underserved community while maintaining excellent clinical standards. Assignment Details:Average ED Volume: patients per dayExpected Census: 2 patients/hourStaffing: 2 physicians during the day, 1 overnightNo APP supportProcedures: Must be comfortable with all emergency medicine procedures and treating all agesEnvironment: Rural hospital ideal for physicians who enjoy hands-on practice Coverage Dates:Dec 24, 27, and 31 (10a 10p)Ongoing needs are anticipated beginning in February 2026.
