Construction Project Manager This position will offer you the opportunity to manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation, and distribution construction projects. The role will involve coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to manage the full lifecycle of capital construction project execution. Key Responsibilities Manage the execution of transmission, substation, and distribution construction projects from planning through completion Oversee construction project execution, contract administration, planning, and resource management Take ownership of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and overall client experience Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, construction execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout Direct project teams, contractors, and subcontractors while maintaining accountability and supporting team development Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client representatives, field personnel, and project stakeholders Ensure projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on schedule, and within budget Track and report key performance indicators related to construction progress, schedule, cost, and project metrics Identify, assess, and mitigate construction risks throughout the project lifecycle Recognize, track, and manage scope changes, field changes, and change orders Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and supervisors to ensure project alignment and success Prepare clear and concise reports outlining construction progress, project status, and key deliverables Analyze project challenges and implement solutions to improve construction outcomes and project performance MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Required Skills and Experience 15+ years of experience in Construction Project Management within Utility, Power Delivery, Engineering, or related infrastructure projects Proven experience managing construction teams, contractors, and multi-disciplinary project teams Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role during construction execution Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Comfortable with approximately 10-25% domestic travel Preferred Skills and Experience BS in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field Engineering design experience PMP Certification Field construction knowledge or hands-on construction experience What's on Offer Competitive hourly pay ranging from $77 to $95 USD plus 1.5 OT pay.
