We are looking for a board certified Gastroenterologist for a Locums opportunity in Virginia. Highlights- Practice Setting: Hospital Call (Saturday and Sunday) - weekends Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Office/Clinic Lab & X-Ray onsite Outpatient Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine Required EMR: Epic No trauma disignation Required Procedure/Duties: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry Esophageal Manometry Interpretation Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy Liver Biopsy Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) On average 8 procedures per weekend: GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, Egd, ERCP
