Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, is seeking Board-Certified Neurologists for long-term locum coverage beginning in April 2026. This opportunity supports both the stroke service and general neurology rounding , with assistance from an experienced Nurse Practitioner who maintains their own patient panel. Assignment Overview Start Date: April 1, 2026 End Date: December 31, 2026 Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (8-hour days, no call) Setting: Inpatient Stroke and General Neurology Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR: Epic Number of Providers Needed: 1 2Patient Load: 6 8 inpatients per day plus 4 6 ER consults on averageSupport Staff: 1 NP (no supervision required)No call, admissions, or outpatient responsibilitiesGuaranteed 8 hours/day, overtime after 10 hours/day Flexible scheduling options are available approximately 2 3 weeks per quarter for one provider or 1 2 weeks per quarter if two providers share the assignment.
