The Overnight Front Desk Agent will be responsible for acting as the representative of the Arizona Biltmore to all guests, ensuring that the highest standards of service are upheld and guest expectations are met throughout the check-in and checkout process. Essential functions include: Register guests and assign rooms, accommodate special requests whenever possible. Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary. Handle the recognition, retrieval, verbal confirmation, credit and closing steps of the check-in / checkout process according to department standards. Stay up-to-date on room rates, packages, help promote special packages, discounts. Know all room rates. Develop a working knowledge of PBX, Concierge and Reservations. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the Front Desk area. Handle guest inquiries ensuring high quality service standards and guest satisfaction. When assigned to night / third shift, produce reports and perform system updates to ensure revenues and guest data is recorded for the appropriate business day and ready for the subsequent business day. Ensure that the Front Desk checklist is completed each shift including required report attachments. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency. This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. The shift is from 10:30pm-7am. What are we looking for? Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Experience: Prior customer service experience, required. Experience with handling cash, preferred. Prior luxury hotel experience, preferred. Prior Front Desk experience, preferred. Compensation: Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
