Project Manager IDEALFORCE has a contract position available immediately for a Project Manager to join our customer in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description Under limited supervision, the project manager is responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives on several small to mid-sized projects. The project manager is responsible for ensuring the end product produced by the project provides the expected benefit to the customer. The project manager will accomplish this by ensuring that each project has clearly defined requirements and success evaluation criteria. Additionally, the project manager will be expected to oversee all activities related to the project including establishment of internal and external policies and procedures, training, testing, researching and providing the customers with IT solutions, and vendor contracts/procurement. The project manager is also expected to advise management of problems or potential problems related to projects on a timely and proactive basis. Qualifications -3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination and management -General working knowledge of practical aspects of project management -Previous experience managing custom software development and COTS implementation projects -Ability to balance project management process with rapid delivery of benefit to the customer -Experience with maintaining project schedules and budgets. -Strong customer focus -Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills -Problem solving skills -Skilled in the creation of project related documents, including but not limited to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, business cases, research findings and detailed statements of work. -Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks. -Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations -Demonstrated ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly -Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organization Preferences: Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Scrummaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum and Agile experience Additional Information : - "All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines". - All candidates who are authorized to work in US are encouraged to apply. - Most of our positions require Candidate to clear the Background check prior to commencing the assignment. - Candidate should clear the Background check prior to commencing the assignment. - Offer is contingent upon an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
