Nursing Program Coordinator Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Nursing Program Coordinator who will oversee the Nursing Excellence Department and lead the hospital's Magnet Journey. The Nursing Program Coordinator will oversee patient care, education and follow through for the Magnet Journey; monitor staff and provider compliance with policy, regulatory requirements and state of the art practice in area of specialty; conduct patient assessments and initiate required testing, treatment or medication management and may perform direct patient care. The Nursing Program Coordinator will also function as liaison between services, patients and families and interact with external agencies, providers and regulatory authorities. The job is located in Colton, CA and the salary range is $119,163.20 - $156,312.00 Annually. The position is full-time and the department is Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The minimum requirements for this position include: License: Must possess and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Certification: Must possess and maintain a Healthcare Provider level Basis Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital with one (1) year working with the ANCC Magnet Model in at least one (1) of the following criteria: Shared Governance, Nursing Sensitive Indicators, Professional Development, Nurse Residency, or Recognition. Experience may be concurrent. The ideal candidate will have experience working in acute care settings and with the ANCC Magnet framework.
