PFC Pharmacy Support Packing

Pfc Pharmacy Support Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated Central Fill Pharmacy. Performs functions of packing, shipping and/or package sortation of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions. Packages prescription in bags once accuracy is verified. Core competencies include partnerships, growth mindset, results oriented, customer focused, and professionalism. Reports to GVP, Pharmacy Services; Fulfillment Center Pharmacy Pharmacists; Packing Leads. Primary duties and responsibilities include placing prescription containers into a bag or sack for delivery to the patient or retail pharmacy, working with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment, preparing the paper work and compiling medicine for delivery orders and mail-outs, maintaining strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress, keeping pharmacy supplies well-stocked, and adhering to company policies and guidelines. Secondary duties and responsibilities include assisting in other areas of Fulfillment Center as needed and performing other job related duties and special projects as required. Knowledge, skills, abilities and worker characteristics include the ability to follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions, commitment to the Hy-Vee mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, and physical requirements including vision, lifting, and repetitive motions. The anticipated hourly starting wage for this position is $18.00 to $22.50 depending on experience.
