Project Manager Data Center Construction - Northern Virginia MXI Partners is recruiting Project Managers to join a specialized Data Center Contractor and General Contractor in Northern Virginia. This role will oversee the White and Gray Space fitout of hyperscale and mission-critical facilities, managing projects from preconstruction through commissioning and client turnover. What's On Offer Base salary up to $180k + bonus + benefits Work on large-scale hyperscale and AI-driven data center projects Join a market-leading mission-critical contractor Strong career growth in the fastest-growing infrastructure sector Key Responsibilities Manage the full interior fitout of projects from kickoff through closeout Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, WIP reporting, and billing Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone deadlines Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents Manage change orders including pricing, negotiation, and documentation Coordinate with Foremen, Project Engineers, Estimators, and subcontractors Lead procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted work Maintain communication with owners, general contractors, and design teams Support positive project cash flow through accurate billing and cost control Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with company and client safety programs Identify value engineering opportunities and process improvements Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of electrical or mechanical construction project management experience Experience delivering mission-critical or data center construction projects preferred Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction drawings, and installation sequencing Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar project budgets Experience working with owners, hyperscalers, general contractors, and trade partners Strong financial and commercial project management skills
