Retina Specialist, Indianapolis, IN, Physician-Owned Group with ASC and Research Join a well-established, physician-owned retina practice with a strong referral base, partnership offered after two years, ASC and building buy-in opportunity, and a highly desirable Indianapolis-area location. Retina Partners Midwest, a 25+ year retina-only practice in Indianapolis, is seeking a retina specialist to join our growing team in 2026 or 2027. We welcome experienced retina surgeons and also encourage exceptional fellowship graduates with strong clinical and surgical skills to apply. About the Opportunity Join a respected, physician-owned retina practice with a strong and longstanding referral network Work alongside 3 retina partners in a collaborative, collegial environment Partnership opportunity after 2 years ASC buy-in opportunity Building ownership opportunity Guaranteed salary with bonus beginning in year 1 Call averages approximately 7 weeks per year Minimal travel to 2 nearby satellite locations, each within 45 minutes New custom-designed 40,000-square-foot facility opened in 2025 Benefit from a broader Midwest Eye Institute network that includes 7 additional retina specialists and 17 ophthalmic subspecialists, including cornea, glaucoma, and oculoplastics Research & Innovation Established clinical trials program with more than a dozen active retinal studies Strong in-house research department and infrastructure Electrophysiology and genetic testing available on site Opportunity to participate in research and teaching, if desired Why Carmel / Indianapolis Carmel is consistently recognized as one of the top places to live in Indiana and the Indianapolis area, with highly rated public schools and an outstanding quality of life.
