Gastroenterologist Opportunity Located in Denville, New Jersey 07834, Consensus Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our team of down-to-earth specialists. The Gastroenterology Physician will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the gastrointestinal tract in adult patients. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care and contribute to the enhancement of our integrated healthcare delivery model. This role is critical in promoting digestive health and managing complex GI disorders while fostering strong provider-patient relationships and collaboration across specialties. No inpatient work or hospital coverage is required at this time. Hours are Monday through Friday with "On Call" in the evenings and on weekends for phone calls only. Standard diagnostic and therapeutic procedures required (EGD and Colonoscopy). If a candidate wants to perform outpatient advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS, they can choose to do so, but it is not required for the position. In office infusion suite and ultrasound, as well as breath testing and Fibroscan offered. The practice owns its own pathology lab for all biopsy specimens taken during endoscopic procedures. Outpatient procedures performed at nearby ambulatory surgical center and outpatient hospital endoscopy unit. This is a stable, well-established practice with over forty-year history in the community, providing a broad patient base with potential for growth. This position offers the potential for secondary income through ownership in an ambulatory surgical center, providing a unique opportunity for financial growth and professional investment. Qualifications or Education, Training and Experience Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Licensed in the state of New Jersey Board certified or Board eligible Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine and fellowship program in gastroenterology DEA controlled substances registration Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification Successful completion of CHC's credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, support personnel and community members Standard EGD and Colonoscopy for screening, diagnostic and therapeutic indications The compensation range for this position is $325,000-$400,000. Compensation is based on level and requirements of the role, as well as percent of net collections. Provided range is based on first year of employment. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
