Are you passionate about building scaling platforms to power millions of smart TVs from many leading global brands? Amazon's Fire TV organization is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team driving reference solutions and platform product-tech. Key job responsibilitiesUnderstand the needs and related trends for customers, TV partners, and offline consumer electronics retailersKeep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVsDefine the product strategy for the region accounting for customers, partner and business needsDefine the roadmap for TVs including TV line-up, specifications, software features working backwards from customers, partners, industry and business needsDevelop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and applicationWork closely with engineering, program management, and QA teams to implement and deliver the product, on-time and exceeding a high quality barDrive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Go to Market, operations, PR and other teams A day in the lifeWork with TV partners on defining the product roadmap, product requirementsUnderstand business requirements and write product requirementss (BRDs/PRDs), strategy docs, and PRFAQsWork with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launchWork with go-to-market, business development, finance, PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs About the team We power Fire TV's expansion across the global smart TV landscape by building the enterprise tools and services that enable TV manufacturers to bring Fire TV to millions of customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics - 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience - Experience in taking a product from conception adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies.
