Job Description

Talent Acquisition Coordinator Our Talent Acquisition Coordinator finds and attracts new employees to our organization, then onboards them with the same excellence that matches J/PR's hospitality clients. You are responsible for marketing for job openings, seeking out incredible candidates, reviewing applications, conducting initial screenings, and walking candidates through the interview process. A Talent Acquisition Coordinator also plays a primary role in the onboarding process of new employees through their first 90 days. You collaborate cross-functionally with our accounts team members, IT, Biz Ops, and agency leadership throughout the entire employee lifecycle, administering our internal talent and development programs. This is a hybrid role based in our San Diego headquarters, requiring 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility for additional days on-site as-needed for onboarding new hires and career fairs. At this time, local candidates will be prioritized. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with the Vice President of People and Culture on staffing needs for all departments Draft and post job listings on JazzHR and other digital recruitment platforms, updating internal job descriptions as needed Own end-to-end recruitment for all interns and entry-level hires in a fast-paced, ever-changing agency environment Coordinate the Internship Program, with support from office leads Prepare and coordinate onboarding and training for all new hires Administer cyclical performance reviews in Lattice, our performance management system Maintain relationships with a large passive talent pool Ensure accuracy in internal HR systems Attend job fairs to recruit entry-level talent And other tasks, projects, or duties as required Experience & Qualifications College Degree or comparable experience required, preferred studies in human resources management or a related field 2 years of recruitment or HR experience with behavioral interviewing and coordinating experience Adaptable and agile, able to work independently with a sense of urgency and prioritize multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a high-touch, hybrid environment Experience with Lattice or other performance management systems preferred Familiarity with hiring regulations and compliance issues Basic knowledge of media and news cycles Basic understanding of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Benefits $25 - $30 an hour, commensurate with experience Eligibility for year-end discretionary bonus Monthly Cell Phone Stipend Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K with employer match Accrued PTO Birthday PTO Flexible Release Fridays Hotel trade with our world-class clients (complimentary stays across our entire portfolio) Hybrid office schedule (3 days in office), Fridays remote Corporate ClassPass discounts Pet insurance discounts Milestone gifts at 1, 5, and 10 years Annual holiday and summer parties, plus regular socials Ongoing training and development opportunities Applicants for employment must possess work authorization for the country in which they are applying, which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
