Our SERVPRO franchise is seeking an experienced Construction Restoration Project Manager to oversee reconstruction projects resulting from fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This position requires someone who can assess property damage, develop scopes of work, write Xactimate estimates, obtain approvals, sell the project, and manage the reconstruction process from start to finish. Experience writing estimates in Xactimate is required for this role. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and experienced in construction project management. This person must be able to communicate effectively with customers, insurance representatives, and subcontractors while keeping projects on schedule and delivering excellent service. This role requires someone who can manage multiple reconstruction projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with customers and subcontractors. Our goal is simple: make property damage "Like it never even happened." Key Responsibilities The Construction Restoration Project Manager is responsible for managing reconstruction projects from initial inspection through final completion. Responsibilities include: Inspect damaged properties and assess reconstruction needs Develop detailed scopes of work based on site inspections Write and review estimates using Xactimate Present estimates and sell reconstruction services to customers and insurance carriers Obtain customer and insurance approval on scope and pricing Maintain consistent communication with homeowners, property managers, and insurance representatives Ensure all required permits and documentation are obtained Create project schedules, timelines, and budgets Hire, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and vendors Monitor project progress and maintain quality standards Manage project budgets and ensure jobs remain profitable Manage change orders and project adjustments as needed Provide proactive follow-up with customers and clients throughout the project Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction from start to finish Core Requirements To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must have: Experience writing estimates using Xactimate (required) Strong construction experience (residential and/or commercial) Experience assessing damage and scoping reconstruction work Ability to sell projects and obtain customer approvals Strong customer service and communication skills Strong follow-up and proactive communication habits Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience managing subcontractors and vendors Ability to problem-solve and keep projects moving forward Applicants without Xactimate estimating experience will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the restoration industry (SERVPRO, BELFOR, Paul Davis, ServiceMaster, etc.) Experience with insurance reconstruction projects Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required Experience with both residential and commercial construction Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to walk construction sites and stand for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights when necessary Exposure to construction environments and varying weather conditions Driving between job sites as required Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance bonuses Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding SERVPRO franchise If you have strong construction experience, Xactimate estimating skills, and enjoy managing projects from start to finish while helping people rebuild after disasters, we encourage you to apply.
