Position: Customer Support Representative Location: Austin, TX (The company will be relocating to the Wimberly area within the next 10-12 months.) Job Type: Full-time Job Description: Delta Millworks is a leading manufacturer of wood cladding and decking products. We cater to architects, designers, and builders seeking unique and beautiful wood products with exceptional performance. Delta was the first company in North America to produce shou-sugi-ban -- a charred wood finishing technique with origins in Japan -- on a large commercial scale and is growing rapidly. Founded in 1985 with a focus on reclaimed wood, Delta has reinvented itself over the past decade while remaining family-owned and focused on our core goals: pushing the boundaries of the use of wood in today's design and building industries; telling the story of wood with a creative approach and a focus on the future; promoting and utilizing sustainable practices and clean technologies; and working hand in hand with design and building professionals to add value and beauty to their projects through the use of wood. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Customer Support Representative to support our sales and customer service efforts. This position is currently in Austin but will be relocating to Wimberly area within 10-12 months. Job Responsibilities: Route initial customer inquiries to the appropriate internal department. This includes answering the main phone line and fielding inquiries through the Companys website. Assist customers with general inquiries, product support, order processing, and technical issues. Provide support to Sales Staff by entering sample orders into our internal order fulfillment system and working with our logistics team to quote freight for Customer Orders. Facilitate customer service claims as they occur. Route claims to the appropriate staff (Production, Logistics, Account Executives, Territory Managers) and proactively guide claims to resolution. Build professional relationships and rapport with customers. Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base of Delta products and internal processes. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: 3+ years of customer service or related relevant experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer-centric approach. Well organized and detail oriented. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Apps, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems and procedures. Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus. Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving solutions. Benefits: Competitive compensation.
