Registered Nurse at Warrior The Registered Nurse at Warrior plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across various medical settings. Full Time 8a - 8p and 8p-8a and a 3p - 11p Minimum Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or region. Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) Demonstrated experience in direct patient care within a hospital or clinical setting. Knowledge of basic wound care techniques. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with nurse practitioners in a collaborative healthcare environment. Additional certifications in patient advocacy or health education. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care. Perform wound care management and monitor patients using telemetry equipment to detect cardiac irregularities. Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring ethical and compassionate care delivery. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care. Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Support pediatric nursing care when required, adapting approaches to meet the developmental needs of children. Skills The required skills such as direct patient care and wound care are essential for daily nursing activities, enabling the nurse to assess and treat patients effectively.
