RN Staff Nurse - Full Time (3-11 / 11-7 Shift)

Registered Nurse Full Time $3,000 Sign on Bonus Salary Range: $40.53 - $41.60 - Competitive RN wages commensurate with experience Basic Qualifications Education/Training: Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of New Jersey CPR Certification Skills: Sincere desire to work with the geriatric population High level of patience, empathy and compassion Excellent knowledge in their field Excellent observation skills with attention to detail Ability to anticipate the needs and moods of residents and interact with residents under all conditions Self-motivated with good organizational skills and an acute sense of responsibility Adept at data entry and strong knowledge of Microsoft Knowledge of computer functions, including designated organization-approved electronic software Excellent oral and written communications with residents, staff, families and the public Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position Experience: Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred Experience in Long Term Care nursing preferred General Responsibilities: Understanding of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations Provide professional care to residents Perform professional duties as determined by qualifications and training Assume charge of unit in absence of supervisor, if necessary Standard Requirements: Support the Mission, Values and Vision of Windmere Understand and honor the Christian principles of the organization Demonstrate an understanding of the Residential Living principles, including resident choice, privacy, independence, and dignity in all interactions with residents Demonstrate an understanding of the aging process, cognitive impairments, Alzheimer's and other dementias Ensure all assigned user ID codes and passwords for accessing resident / facility information are kept confidential; ensure the departmental computer workstations left unattended are properly logged off or the password protected automatic screen-saver activates within established facility policy guidelines Report known or suspected incidents of fraud to the Administrator Report any known or suspected unauthorized attempt to access facility's information system Maintain HIPAA compliance as well as confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee and operations data Exhibit concern for safety and well-being of staff, residents, families, and visitors Other Duties: Timely completion of all required in-services Must be present for at least one mandatory annual fire drill Must participate in annual N95 Fit Testing All other responsibilities that may be necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the position or as may be assigned Hours of Work: As per department schedule Weekends, if required Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance Complimentary life insurance valued at $25,000 Paid time off for sickness, vacation, bereavement, and personal time Paid holidays Free on-site parking Free meals Continuing education credits (CE) that you can earn online
