Water Restoration Helper We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Water Restoration Helper to join our team. The Water Restoration Helper assists in the restoration of properties affected by water damage, including water extraction, drying, and clean-up processes. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the restoration industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the set-up and operation of equipment used for water extraction, dehumidification, and drying. Remove water-damaged materials, including carpets, drywall, and flooring, under supervision. Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth. Transport and maintain equipment and supplies to and from job sites. Monitor and document moisture levels, temperatures, and drying progress. Assist in preparing job sites by moving furniture and protecting undamaged areas. Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Support the lead technician in completing restoration tasks efficiently and effectively. Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related field is a plus but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Willingness to work in varying conditions, including wet, damp, or dirty environments. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting. Must be available for on-call work, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Must be able to pass background check and drug test Benefits:Competitive hourly pay ranging from $12 to $16 per hour, depending on experience. Opportunities for overtime and on-the-job training.
