The Opportunity In this role, you will partner with client stakeholders to create and implement change management strategies and organizational development initiatives. As a senior consultant, you'll lead change management plans from assessment through implementation, analyze stakeholders, assess readiness and impacts, and lead change networks to support adoption. In addition, you will create solutions that enable leadership alignment, team performance, and organizational effectiveness. This includes diagnosing organizational challenges and leveraging data and behavioral science to design program recommendations that will help teams and organizations perform at a higher level. You will build and facilitate team sessions, stakeholder workshops, and leadership development programs to improve communication, decision-making, and collaboration. While the position is eligible for multiple office locations, the preferred location for this role is Denver, Chicago, or Gaithersburg. Strong candidates in other listed locations will be considered. The Team The OCM team is a consulting-led group of experienced practitioners who partner with clients to drive successful adoption of complex business and technology transformations. The team brings deep expertise across change strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, training and leadership/organizational effectiveness, helping organizations align people, processes, and technology to achieve sustainable outcomes. Operating as a growing center of excellence, the team drives thought leadership while evolving reusable offerings, standards, and capability that strengthen practice maturity and impact. Key Responsibilities This is a client-facing Organizational Change Management and Organizational Design role. Lead strategic change initiatives that drive business transformation, build leadership capability, improve organizational performance, and enable sustainable change. Design and deploy change strategy and plans, communication, and training plans to ensure changes to structures, roles, processes, and behaviors are effectively adopted and sustained. Design and deliver client-focused solutions that enhance team performance, build leadership capability, enable sustainable change, and drive organizational effectiveness. Partner with clients and internal consulting teams to assess organizational needs, develop strategies and implement interventions that align with business objectives and improve performance. Leverage deep expertise to create innovative solutions to common leadership/team challenges, including workshopping and facilitation activities. This role requires you to build trusted advisory relationships with executives and business leaders and manage multiple clients/priorities. Management Responsibilities Individual Contributor Preferred Qualifications Progressive experience supporting increasingly complex clients and programs; management consulting experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience Experience supporting organizational design, operating model, or organizational effectiveness initiatives Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively at all organizational levels Collaborative, team oriented mindset Willingness to travel ~ 25%, based on client or project needs Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
