As a Back of House Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our kitchen operations, ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to perfection. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing the food production process to ensure alignment with our established recipes and standards. Collaborating with management to uphold employment policies while maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the restaurant. Monitoring productivity to ensure efficient preparation times for all menu items. Managing and developing the performance of Back of House employees through evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Providing daily feedback to foster growth among key employees, assistant managers, and hourly staff. Conducting line Taste & Temp checks to maintain inventory accuracy and kitchen safety. Ensuring proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all food items. Practicing and enforcing safe food handling procedures. Controlling food costs, tracking waste, and managing kitchen labor efficiently. Assigning daily tasks and creating schedules for Back of House staff. Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleanliness to ensure optimal operation. Recruiting and interviewing Back of House employees to build a robust team.
