SUMMARY AND PURPOSE Support purchasing efforts with a focus on wrapper fabricated and machine part requirements to ensure timely customer delivery while enhancing margin improvement through strategic sourcing. Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a team backup during peak workloads or PTO. Maintain inventory levels to support Aftermarket and Wrapper Sales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Review and place purchase orders in Profit Key for parts that support Wrapper & Site Aftermarket Sales. Track and expedite orders to meet on-time delivery metrics. Update the weekly Aftermarket status in preparation for Aftermarket Weekly Meetings. Monitor monthly delivery performance results and provide reports. Collaborate with Shop and Sub Assembly to ensure Aftermarket delivery performance. Create new parts as needed. Source parts from alternate vendors and/or manufacturers to meet customer needs. Inform the Aftermarket team of obsolete and End of Life (EOL) parts. Manage the Purchasing Inbox and follow up on outstanding tasks. Run Auto PO for Job Lots and Customer Orders. Disseminate marked POs. Establish vendor relationships for incomplete parts. Manage VIP inventory levels to ensure 24-hour shipping capability. Sign commodity orders to support overall demand. Serve as backup for Production Control Assistant and Buyers. Support strategic initiatives for Pacteon Companies as necessary. Correct invoices as needed through Concur. Return parts to vendors for repair, replacement, and/or credit. Participate in vendor and product training as required. Travel may be required for intercompany support, training, or trade shows, approximately 5%. Valid enhanced driving license and/or passport necessary for travel. Enhance professional skills through ongoing training, education, and networking events. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of industry experience preferred. Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP and MS Office applications is required. Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service orientation and phone skills. Proven team collaboration and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication. Proficient time management and personal organization capabilities. Results-oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
