Founded in the early 1990s, they have expanded from elevator modernization into broader commercial renovations and new construction projects up to $10M+. They selfperform most of their work and have nearly tripled revenue in recent years, driven by a new VP of Construction who joined from top national builders and has maintained zero turnover since arriving. Project work is primarily within the beltway, with a significant concentration in downtown Washington, DC. Job Description The Project Manager - Federal / Commercial GC - MD will: Lead renovation and light newbuild projects up to $10M, ensuring ontime and onbudget delivery. Manage full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor oversight, and quality control. Coordinate closely with superintendents and selfperform crews to maintain site safety, productivity, and project standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, and internal stakeholders. Review drawings, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation with strong attention to detail. Support forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting throughout the construction process. Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and fielddriven problemsolving. The Successful Applicant The Project Manager - Federal / Commercial GC - MD will have: 3-5 years of Project Manager experience with a General Contractor (not seeking SPMlevel candidates). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience delivering renovation projects up to $10M. Strong tenure and a track record of delivering projects successfully endtoend. Comfortable working on projects throughout the DC metro region. Excellent communication, coordination, and clientfacing skills.
