Junior Project Estimator

Padula Builders, Inc. Padula Builders, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Estimator to join our team, with a clear path for growth and advancement. For over 40 years, Padula Builders has set the standard in high-end custom home construction throughout the region. We are known for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and long-standing client relationships. As our estimating department continues to evolve, we are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, take ownership, and grow into a more senior estimating role in the near future. This position is ideal for someone with foundational estimating knowledge, relevant field experience, or formal construction-related education who is ready to develop their skills through hands-on training and mentorship. What You'll Do: Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for high-end custom residential projects from early budgeting through construction Review architectural drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals Work closely with senior estimating staff, project managers, architects, and clients to ensure accurate and transparent pricing Learn and support internal estimating systems, workflows, and best practices Track costs and assist in identifying efficiencies while maintaining quality standards Help maintain strong relationships with trusted trade partners and vendors What We're Looking For: We are open to candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including: Some estimating experience, or Relevant field experience in residential construction with strong analytical skills, or A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field Additional qualifications: Understanding of residential building systems, materials, and construction sequencing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort working with drawings, numbers, and spreadsheets (estimating software experience is a plus) Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset A strong desire to grow quickly, take on responsibility, and advance within the company What We Offer: Competitive salary, based on experience Paid holidays and vacation time Health insurance 401(k) available Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced estimating professionals A clear opportunity for advancement within a stable, well-respected custom home builder Apply Today: If you're looking to start or advance your estimating career with a company that values quality, integrity, and long-term success, we'd love to hear from you.
